Synopsis

In 2003, American soldiers found thousands of Jewish religious documents and artifacts in Saddam Hussein’s intelligence headquarters. The government of Iraq made a deal with the US to restore them. After ten years, The Iraqi Jewish Archives went on display in major exhibits in New York and Washington. But many were too damaged to restore and according to Jewish tradition were prepared for burial.
